Bill Istvan Günther Skarsgård (Swedish:[ˈbɪlːˈskɑ̌ːʂɡoːɖ]; born 9 August ) is a Swedish actor. He is known for portraying Pennywise in the horror films It () and It Chapter Two (). Other horror appearances were in the series Hemlock Grove (–) and Castle Rock (–) and the films Barbarian () and Nosferatu ().

Skarsgård has also appeared in the comedy Simple Simon (), the drama Nine Days (), and the action films The Divergent Series: Allegiant (), Atomic Blonde (), and John Wick: Chapter 4 ().

Early life

Skarsgård was born on 9 August in Vällingby, Stockholm, Sweden, the son of actor Stellan Skarsgård and doctor My Skarsgård.[1][2][3] He has seven siblings, including actors Alexander, Gustaf, and Valter.[4]

Valter Skarsgård was born in Stockholm, Sweden.[citation needed] He is the youngest son of actor Stellan Skarsgård[1][2] and My Skarsgård, a physician.[3][4][5] He has seven siblings, five of whom are from his father's first marriage: Alexander, Gustaf, Sam, Bill, and Eija. He has two half-brothers, Ossian and Kolbjörn, from his father's second marriage.[6]

Skarsgård was born on 12 November in Stockholm, Sweden, to Swedish actor Stellan Skarsgård and his first wife, My, a physician. He has five siblings: Alexander, Sam, Bill, Eija and Valter, and two half-brothers Ossian and Kolbjörn by his father's second marriage, to Megan Everett.[1] Alexander, Bill, and Valter are also actors. His godfather is Swedish actor Peter Stormare. Gustaf decided to follow in his father's footsteps as an actor at the age of six and attended drama school.[2]
