WELCOME TO AURORA BOTNIA
The ferry is a modern ship with 2 cargo decks. It accommodates passengers and has a freight capacity of 1, lane meters for trucks and cars. The vessel has modern machinery running on a dual fuel and battery solution. The main source of fuel is liquefied natural gas, LNG. The vessel will also be able to utilise biogas.
The Association for Finnish Work has awarded the Key flag symbol to Aurora Botnia as a recognition of a product made in Finland. It was built by Rauma Marine Constructions in Finland and is over 80% domestic made.

Wasaline is a Finnish ferry company linking Vaasa, on the west coast of Finland, with Umea in Sweden, providing regular sailings across the Gulf of Bothnia.
